As I was getting familiar with the Moods Fabric website I came across their blogg page. On this page one of their bloggers Sarah Gunn known as “Goodbye Valentino” (http://goodbyevalentino.com) was celebrating the completion of a challenge she had posed to herself a year ago. This challenge was to sew her clothing for one year rather than buy them. I thought what a great idea.

About a month ago I had given myself a goal of increasing my sewing knowledge and moving beyond the “very easy” and “easy” patterns and advancing on to the Average and Advanced patterns. And maybe even trying my hand at a Marfy pattern. This challenge may be a great way for me to accomplish that goal.

Although the goal is to sew “my” clothing, I will also attempt to sew several pieces for my granddaughter.

Happy Sewing to Me!
