Practice Makes Perfect

So. . . I’ve completed the Craftsy.com course on “Pant Fitting Techniques” and I must say there was a lot of information presented, but in reality I am still complete confused! The book “The Complete Photo Guide to Perfect Fitting” is on order and due in in a couple of days.

The second muslin is complete and the actual pants have been cut out of a nice piece of black fabric from my stash. It is almost a guarentee that this pattern will have to be revisited, as the final was cut BEFORE the course was completed . . . this was for sure my impatient side 🙂

But a nice thing is that while shopping with my sister-in-law and niece this afternoon we did notice a very nice pair of pants at JJill with a very similar structure, and Vera Wang aslo has a similar pair in Kohls (I said I’m not buying RTW, but you gotta look). . . yes . . . I will definently be revisiting this pattern.
