Enlightening Surfing

Okay. . .  so last night I was “surfing” and decided to check out what was happening on Pinterest.

I came across a top that was pinned by Mood Fabrics and it was a gorgeous wool stretch blouse in a pretty baby-pink color. After a few more clicks I realized the blouse was by a designer named Alexander McQueen with a price tag of $1365.

So I’m thinking Mood Fabrics has wool knits starting at $14 per yard and I’m sure there are patterns available that will come close to the look.

I think I’ll “follow” Mood Fabrics pins on their Pinterest site for more enlightening ideas.

  1. PS: News flash . . . Trying to figure out the fiber content in the alexander McQueen top, the details state 66% wool, 29% polyamide, and 5% elastane. What is polyamide and elastane? I had never heard of those things. That’s because they are . . . . Nylon and Lycra! LOL!
