Well the first project is complete. There were several lessons learned on this project: 1) use gloves when using dye – my fingers are still blue 2) I will need to practice a little more on the tiered dye method – this one turned out pretty much one color 3) if I make this one again out of a woven fabric use bias tape for the arms and neck. Although she wanted blue pink is one of her favorite colors so I lined the hem in a pink thread and placed a big pink heart in the center.
