New challenge!

I was just reading a blog by one of the bloggers at Mood Fabrics and she had mentioned how she had just completed a challenge she had given herself one year ago. The challenge was to stop buying manufactured clothing and make her own. I thought what a great idea!

I had already given myself the challenge to move beyond the very easy patterns and onto something a little more challenging, so this could be an excellent way to accomplish this goal.

Today being Monday, October 1, 2012, I couldn’t think of a better day to start, the first day of the month and the beginning of the week. This afternoon I also started  a very simple blouse for my grand daughter which would make an excellent starting project.

So let’s see what the next 12 months have in store!
